Are you an educator new to the independent school community or interested in transitioning to one? If so, our online summer course is for you. Offered with One Schoolhouse, this course is designed to explore missions, cultures, and learning environments of independent schools and how educators impact the classroom experience. Participants will explore ways to create a collaborative student-centered learning space, how to integrate themselves into their school culture, how to maximize the learning experience for students, how to interact with parents, and more.

INTRODUCTION TO INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS 

OVERVIEW:

During this four week course, participants will explore what it means to work in an independent school. INTRODUCTION TO BLENDED LEARNING

OVERVIEW:

During this four week course, participants will understand the implications of blended learning on their own classroom and the pedagogical considerations for applying the blended learning model to their own courses.

Teachers who are interested in learning more about the concept, pedagogy, and good practice of successful blended courses.
