"I just wanted to say thank you for an incredibly productive, exciting and professional connection event. Cal West did an incredible job. I am so happy I was chosen to become a part of this process. It is quite obvious from the way that Cal West conducted this fair that the entire staff is committed to finding the best placement for both schools and candidates. The level of care, ambition and focus shown by the Cal West staff took the pressure off me and allowed me to interview to the best of my ability."
   ~John McInerney, Brant Rock, MA

"The Cal-West team took a sometimes overwhelming and cumbersome process of hiring educators and made it efficient through the use of their technology and dedication to exceptional customer service!"
~Robin Johnson, Human Resources Director (retired), Lakeside School, Seattle, WA

What is a Connection Event?
Connection Events provide an opportunity for candidates and school representatives to meet for first round interviews. Prior to each Connection Event, school administrators are sent portfolios of candidates whose experience, background, and qualifications match open positions at those schools. Preceding Connection Events, some administrators will have set up interview appointments, although a large percentage of interviews are scheduled the day of the event. What is a Diversity Event?
At our Diversity Events, educators meet with administrators and other school representatives to learn more about schools and their commitment to multiculturalism, both in the student body and among faculty and staff. A Diversity Event may be an evening program or may occur during the course of a Cal/West Connection event during the day. The events have informative speakers or discussion leaders and time for meaningful interaction and the sharing of experiences.
