How Does Cal/West Help Educators Find "Perfect" Positions?

Cal/West Educators specializes in personalized service to educators and school administrators. We work with our candidates to assist them in reviewing and revising their resumes, completing the online profile, preparing for interviews, and assist in the decision making process once there is an offer of a position. We are a personal advocate. We place educators year round, however, the majority of placements begin each year in the fall, and the majority of candidates are hired between January and July.

Throughout the years we have established strong personal relationships, based on mutual respect, with school leaders. We treasure these relationships, consistently visit schools and maintain ongoing meaningful connections. Our networking allows us to thoroughly assess a school’s philosophy and needs and carefully seek to match appropriate candidates for available positions.

Since 1987, Cal/West Educators Placement has placed hundreds of teachers, administrators, and specialists in positions at a variety of elementary, middle, and high schools. Our pool of qualified candidates includes experienced teachers and administrators for grades pre-K–12, plus many other professionals such as business managers, development officers, admissions officers, and counselors. We are also dedicated to helping new teachers find appropriate positions as associates, assistants, or interns. We help place candidates in a variety of types of schools – large and small, religious and secular, traditional and progressive – as well as schools for children with learning differences.
